A master's degree candidate at UEW (Prince Tanyegbe) passed away in Ghartey Hall A following a brief illness. The unfortunate incident took place today, September 28th, when a doctor entered the municipal hospital and pronounced him dead right away. The dead student complained of stomach symptoms when he arrived at school from home; despite receiving first aid care, he passed away this morning.
At 10 a.m., when his roommate realized that he was sleeping later than normal, he tapped him to get him up but found that neither his hands nor his body moved. He was subsequently taken to the local hospital, where a medical professional pronounced him dead. The issue has been reported to his family.
His roommates are currently being ordered to vacate the space till further notice. He was in Room 10 of Ghartey Hall A. May God lead us all on this journey. And may his kind soul rest in peace for all time.
