Friday
Mr. Okesu and his driver, Sylvester Attah, are believed to have checked into the hotel room on Friday, September 2. The driver, on the other hand, left to stay at another hotel, leaving the vehicle in the custody of the MCE. Mr Kofi Okesu was spotted strolling about the hotel on Saturday and even greeting some visitors, according to hotel workers.
On Sunday, however, he was not seen in the morning or afternoon, and attempts to contact him by phone were unsuccessful because his phone was not answered. His driver had also attempted to contact him because they were scheduled to return to Dambai on Sunday, September 4. The hotel manager filed an official complaint with the police, and when they entered the room, they discovered the victim in a supine position on bed, naked, with his left arm hanging beside the bed A thorough inspection of his body by medical personnel revealed no signs of violence, but evidence of spermatozoa on his thigh. The spermatozoa drops, according to officials, indicate a possible sexual act before his death.
