Two persons are wanted by the police for allegedly stealing US$1,600 at a currency exchange at the Accra Mall on February 27, 2023, in the late afternoon. According to the victim, the two suspects entered the forex bureau pretending to exchange some currency but were able to steal some cash from the counter when the attendant was looking the other way. A police report claims that when the victim realized the money had been taken, the attendant chased after the thieves, but they got into a waiting car and sped away. The police have started an investigation into the incident in an effort to apprehend the alleged thieves and bring them before the courts.
