For devices that are only expected to be released in September, which is still more than half a year away, the next iPhones really enjoy leaking. We saw some CAD renders of the iPhone 15 earlier today, following up on the other renders from last week, and today we have another generated image for you to look at. This is the iPhone 15 Pro in what is currently reported to be its flagship color. It's a deep red with the hex color code #410D0D. It should be noted that this representation of the phone is merely meant to show the precise color that Apple intends to use to make its Pro and Pro Max devices stand out this year. Formerly, the Pro line's exclusive hero color was Pacific Blue for the iPhone 12 generation, Sierra Blue for the iPhone 13 generation, and Space Black and Deep Purple special editions for the current iPhone 14 generation. Later this year, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available in this limited-edition dark red color, which Apple's marketing staff will undoubtedly call something interesting. Apple will provide pink (hex code #CE3B6C) and bright blue (#0DB1E2) variants for the vanilla iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, among others. The usual disclaimer applies: this is merely an unsubstantiated rumor, and even if Apple is now considering utilizing any or all of these hues, some may still not make the cut when mass production of the next-generation iPhones begins.
Bear in mind that Apple did work on a gold iPhone X back in the day, but it was never released, despite passing the FCC certification process.
