Yussif Alhassan, 24, was reportedly stabbed to death after a quarrel over a sachet of water. According to Fox Radio in Kumasi, the incident occurred in the Ashanti region in Manso Moseasso. Usman Alhassan, the deceased's brother, described the incident on Fox FM's Ewiase Ehu on March 10, 2023. "On Sunday, I left town for Kumasi and I leant around 1 or 2 pm, the guy claimed that he had bought a bag of sachet water and my brother had gone to take one to drink," he explained. Then there became an argument, and he stabbed him."
He went on to say that Yussif Alhassan was rushed to the region's Manso Hospital but died soon after arriving. According to Usman Alhasaan, the suspect has now abandoned the town and gone into hiding. He went on to state that the case has been turned over to the Nkawie District Police Command for further investigation.
