The school bus for Anlo Technical Institute was engaged in a horrific accident.
According to reports, food was being transported by school bus from the buffer stock depot at Sogakofe Senior High School (SOGASCO) to Anlo Technical Institute (ANTECH).
An eyewitness reported that the school bus driver had the collision near Agotoe. In Dabala Junction in the South Tongu District, the driver struck and ran, injuring two persons. The bus that was carrying people and food to Anlo Technical Institute crashed into a stationary cargo truck carrying "koklomi fertiliser" in Agotoe. The bus then fell into the gutter (ANTECH).
The two injured individuals, however, have been taken right away to the hospital for care.
Many believe that ANTECH, ZICO, ANSECO, KETABUSCO, and KETASCO need a buffer stock depot in Anloga to prevent similar incidents from occuring again because the aforementioned senior high schools are crowded schools near the seaside. They should not be going to SOGASCO; they need a new depot.
A well-constructed depot will reduce the cost of fuel, save time, and prevent any additional unanticipated events in light of the accident when going to SOGASCO for food.
