El Salvador's satanic gang performs heinous rape initiations and murders blondes on the spot.

Some of MS-13's founders were Satanists, whose influence can still be felt in El Salvador 50 years later. The founding members of Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, were Satanists whose influences have remained with the brutal cartel - an El Salvador crackdown on the gang is underway. One of the world's most brutal and notorious gangs, which is currently facing a massive crackdown, has Satanist roots. MS-13, or Mara Salvatrucha, was founded in Los Angeles in the 1970s and 1980s. The gang is estimated to have up to 80,000 members worldwide, with up to 10,000 operating solely in the United States. It makes money all over the world by trafficking, racketeering, murder, money laundering, extortion, kidnapping, robbery, illegal immigration, battery, and prostitution. After being deported from Los Angeles in the early 1990s, the gang established a foothold in El Salvador. It sparked widespread violence, but President Nayib Bukele is clamping down with tough measures that have been credited with cutting the country's murder rate by more than 56% last year. Authorities recently opened a brutal mega-prison capable of housing up to 40,000 inmates at once, including MS-13 members. El Salvador's President Bukele is successfully combating MS-13's heinous crime spree.

Footage shows the first arrivals at the country's "terrorist center" being stripped, shackled, and forced to line up. Héctor Gustavo Villatoro, El Salvador's security minister, warned that cartel members who end up inside "will never walk out" of the specialist jai. The strategy has been dubbed "authoritarian," but supporters point to the heinous crimes committed by gang members in El Salvador and the United States. According to experts, some of its founding members were devil worshippers. The gang's members' satanic influences can be seen in their nicknames, tattoos, and clothing, with many choosing to plaster skulls and devil horns across their bodies. 

"La garra," a Spanish reference to Satan's claws, is the gang's infamous devil horns hand sign. On top of this, some MS-13 members have told investigators that they committed their crimes at the behest of "la bestia", otherwise known as "The Beast". "The beast... desired a soul," an MS-13 member known as Diabolical said after killing a 15-year-old girl who allegedly disrespected his satanic-themed shrine in 2017. MS-13 members are frequently subjected to severe beatings or are assigned to kill someone as part of their initiation into the gang. 

Those who want to join the brutal cartel must endure harrowing "hazing" rituals to demonstrate their toughness and willingness to commit heinous acts. As part of their initiation, young men are frequently subjected to severe beatings and are sometimes instructed to kill someone. Women are subjected to brutal initiation tests by the savage male members, including beatings or rape. Elena Guzman, a female gang member, told Pacific Standard magazine in 2017 that "cute" female members were far more likely to be sexually assaulted. "Or if the gang's leader said, 'No, this is only for me,' she'd become his girlfriend," she explained. 

Their heinous crimes against women extend far beyond their own ranks. In 2017, Quartz reported that women in El Salvador were buying hair dye in large quantities after a rumor spread throughout the country that the only people allowed to have blonde or red hair were the girlfriends of MS-13 cartel members. The rumor also stated that anyone with blonde or red hair outside of gang circles would be executed in public by cartel members. While the gang denied this, few believed them, with one Salvadorian saying, "These people are insane, and they will kill you."
