Operatives of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command's Quick Intervention Squad, QIS, apprehended one Gabriel Okon Ekpiri of Ekit Itam Akpan Obong in Itu Local Government Area, who sold his nine-year-old kid for N400,000, or $520. Mr Odiko MacDon, the state Police Public Relations Officer, revealed this in a statement made available to Uyo journalists.
