The Buga hitmaker, Kizz Daniel, was detained by the Summer Amplified Show organizers in Tanzania when he failed to appear for the well advertised show on Sunday night. The artist was supposed to perform at the Summer Amplified event at the Warehouse Arena (formerly Next Door Arena) in Dar es Salaam, according to 'The Citizen', a Tanzanian tabloid.
In a trending Twitter video, the musician can be seen getting into a Tanzanian police vehicle while sporting a black hoodie.
After spending up to $5000 and waited for hours for the Singer to perform, the concertgoers had mounted a small protest by tossing bottles onto the empty stage.
The musician reportedly arrived in the nation earlier but declined to perform since his outfits weren't available.

Apology
A few hours prior to the event, the singer's arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) was announced by the event planner, according to 'The Citizen.
The singer's followers had to wait till six in the morning for a live concert, but Kizz Daniel wasn't there. The event's organizer, Streup Vibes, apologized in a post on their Instagram on Monday morning.
The regrettable situation was acknowledged by the event's organizers with remorse.
The statement read, "We recognize that this has led to disappointment for our devoted consumers and long-term key stakeholders.
It said that it is treating the situation appropriately and rigorously and that it would take care of the paying and present fans.
Unverified rumors claim that Kizz Daniel skipped the event because he left his suitcases behind in Uganda and wouldn't wear other people's clothing or buy any new ones.

Before Sunday, the musician had received criticism twice in a single month for abruptly canceling his gigs.
Fans initially called him out on July 7 for missing the sold-out performance of the Afronation US Classic tour in Maryland, USA, for more than five hours. They then called him out again after he postponed his concert in Denver, USA, on July 20. The singer of the smash song "Buga" hasn't posted anything on any of his profiles.
History
Nigerian musicians have already encountered legal issues in other African nations. In December 2020, Ugandan officials accused Nigerian musicians Omah Lay and Tems of breaking COVID-19 laws at a concert. Uganda is an East African nation.
According to Ugandan officials, Tems and Omah Lay were officially charged with "Negligently conducting actions likely to transmit an infectious illness C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act."
After they gave a sold-out music performance, they were taken into custody.
