Apostle Francis Amoako-Atta, Founder and General Overseer of the Lord's Parliament Chapel International, has warned that Ghanaians will come to regret their passivity on President Akufo-National Addo's Cathedral project. According to the Apostle, the president's concept is admirable and will bring the country heavenly favor and supernatural growth.
"The cathedral will be the focus of religious tourism in Africa. If Ghanaians do not support the initiative, foreign investors will take over the construction and management of the sacred structure, and Ghanaians will have to pay to enter," he added. He intimated that if Ghanaians do not support the project, they will be remorseful.
The Life Coach, known in religious circles as the "Practical Strategic Preacher," made the announcement on Friday during an interview with Speaker Nana Fianko, host of Atinka TV's main current affairs show, "The Agenda."
He was proud of the judges who gave up their homes without hesitation in order for the historical monument to be created. He stated that this deed had moved the Lord's heart and would cause Him to shine His face upon the nation's judiciary. He also stated that the cathedral is appropriately situated for its intended purpose. In response to critiques of the project, Apostle Amoako-Attah stated that the critics lack sufficient knowledge of how God works and are unaware of the initiative's economic and spiritual value to the country, the sub-region, and Africa as a whole. He urged the President and the National Cathedral Secretariat to remain firm and focused on the task at hand for the sake of God and country. Nonetheless, Apostle Amoako-Attah lamented the construction project's poor progress. According to him, the fact that the project is still in the planning stages three years after it was funded is an eyesore and leaves a lot to be desired.
