Several people beat a young man for allegedly stealing a phone from a lady he gave a ride to. According to a tweep named Dr Tony Brown, the offender went to Circle to trade the lady's phone for cash after stealing her phone. The young man was unlucky since the shop he went to was where the victim worked. In a video that went viral on the bird app Twitter, the victim was horrified when the perpetrator - dressed in a yellow hoodie - denied knowing her.
"You don't know who I am?" a lady in the background was heard addressing the accused thief amid the beatings.
"I nor know am," he said in Pidgin English after being forced to respond to the inquiry.
Dr. Tony Brown, who uploaded the video, stated, "You are the reason why girls avoid sitting inside DV automobiles. He goes out and rents DV cars (Benz, you know the fancy ones) and only picks women. Only for him to pull a gun on you in the car and steal your phone... You gals need to stay awake!"
He went on to say, "He snatched one of the girls' phones and took it to a circle to sell it, not realizing that the shop he entered is also where the girl works. Do yawa, Chairman."
