Amotekun Corps agents have detained Daniel Chigozie, a 30-year-old father, for allegedly selling his nine-month-old son to three buyers.According to David Akinremi, the commandant of the Corps in Ogun State, the agency received information that the father had repeatedly sold his son, Daniel Chinonye Darlington. He guaranteed Chigozie offered the kid to three separate purchasers in the Lagos areas of Sango, Meiran, and Apapa.
The suspect, a resident of Abela in Sango Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, received N150,000, N400,000, and N700,000 from anonymous clients between August 2022 and February 2023.Akinremi claims that the corps' investigation revealed that the man, who is thought to be a member of a criminal gang, devised a plan to retrieve the son from each buyer after each sale until he sold him to Dr. Nosa in Apapa.
