Nhyiraba Kojo, a hip-hop crooner from Ghana, has been imprisoned for thirty days. A Sekondi Commercial High Court has given him a 30-day prison sentence for contempt in a case brought by three Fijai residents regarding the noise from his nightclub.The court, presided over by Justice Sedina Agbemava, sentenced Nhyiraba Kojo to prison after he disobeyed the interlocutory injunction that required him to stop the noise at the nightclub, ensure the installation of soundproofing at the NK City Nightclub, and submit a report to the court.
Edmund Sampana Dienorng, Nicholas Imbeah, and Samuel Kofi Dzukey are the applicants.
