A 33-year-old mother named Olaide Adekunle has been captured for selling her child for N600,000 which is identical to Ghc 15,532 to reimburse a bank credit. The young woman was arrested by the Ogun State police command, according to reports, for allegedly selling her 18-month-old child to an unidentified buyer for the aforementioned sum.The incident was brought to the attention of the Sango divisional headquarters by the woman's husband, Nureni Rasaq.He answered to the police that his better half, Olaide Adekunle, ventured out from home for Lagos on the fifteenth of Walk 2023 with their child young lady called Moridiat Rasaq, however got back without the kid.An arrest warrant was issued for the woman after the incident was reported to the police, and during questioning, the suspect admitted that she had sold her baby to someone in Lagos for 600,000 naira.According to the mother, she sold her child to an unidentified Lagos woman in order to pay back a microfinance bank loan.
