The Ghana Police Service is said to have arrested Oko the Killer after he hurled unprintable comments against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. The man in the viral video insulted the president and vowed to vote against him in the future general elections in 2024 while lamenting the state of the economy and how much people were suffering.

[Impolite language]...I'm Oko the Killer, and I'm writing to you, Nana Akufo-Addo.Your Excellency won't receive anything in 2024 because we have you hanged, he continued.

The man went before an Accra Circuit Court where he was remanded into police custody, according to a post by Oliver Barker-Vormawor, the main convener of the #FixTheCountry Movement.

Barker-Vormawor claims that the court declared that "the man's life will be in danger because he insulted the president and so he will be safer in police custody"
