Six people were killed in a shooting in Goshen on Monday morning.
A 17-year-old mother and a six-month-old baby are among the victims. According to the Tulare County Sheriff's Office, it happened shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Harvest Avenue between Road 68 and Kame Drive. Because of the number of shots fired, callers initially assumed it was an active shooter situation.
When deputies arrived, they discovered two victims dead in the street and a third in the home's doorway.
Deputies discovered a total of six victims. At the scene, five of them were pronounced dead. Another person died in the hospital.
At the moment, authorities believe there are at least two suspects. They do not believe this was an isolated incident and believe there is a gang connection.
A search warrant for drugs was executed at this residence just a week ago.
