Kweku Essuman, a 50-year-old chainsaw operator, passed away suddenly after being crushed by a tree while working on a farm. The incident happened on March 14, 2023, at about 4:30 in the evening.
The terrible situation occurred when Kofi Shaibu, a farmer, engaged the deceased, who is from Assin Abodweseso in the Assin South District of the Central Region, to cut down some trees on his field, as most farmers do while preparing their land for cultivation.

The deceased's body has been placed in the mortuary of the Assin Fosu St. Francis hospital for preservation and an autopsy.
