Ernest Agyiri, a Ghanaian midfielder, scored for the second time in a row for FCI Levadia in the Estonian Meistriliiga away win over JK Narva Trans on Saturday afternoon.
The former Manchester City player has been in excellent form since the start of the 2023 season, scoring twice in three games.The 25-year-old midfielder opened the scoring for Levadia in the 26th minute with a brilliant finish from outside the box after being set up by Brazilian forward Felipe Felicio.The visitors extended their lead in the second half after goalkeeper Aleksandr Kraizmer put the ball in his own net.Agyiri played 88 minutes before being replaced by Nikita Vassiljev, an Estonian teenager.In 22 appearances in the Estonian top flight the previous season, the Right to Dream Academy graduate scored three goals and provided two assists.Levadia are second in the league standings after three rounds of unbeaten play, having scored five goals and conceding none.
